Tyne is a British-American Director based in New York. 

Tyne is currently directing and developing multiple TV and podcast projects. 

 

Her recent theatre productions include Usual Girls by Ming Peiffer at Roundabout Theatre Company which was nominated for multiple Drama Desk Awards including Outstanding Direction. She also recently directed Power Strip by Sylvia Khoury at Lincoln Center Theatre, Selling Kabul by Sylvia Khoury at the Williamstown Theatre Festival and I Was Most Alive With You by Craig Lucas at Playwright's Horizons. 

 

Her work has also been seen at The Public Theatre, The Atlantic, MTC, MCC, The Vineyard, Classic Stage Company, The Geffen Playhouse, La Jolla Playhouse, The McCarter Theatre, amongst others. 

 

Tyne was a Time Warner Directing Fellow at the Women's Project Theatre and received the SDC Sir John Gielgud Fellowship. She was Associate Director to Bartlett Sher on various Broadway and West End productions. 

 

Tyne trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and Columbia University.
